Requirements:
The Electronic Technical Officer (ETO) is responsible for maintaining and repairing all low voltage electrical systems onboard, with potential involvement in high voltage systems as needed.
Responsibilities of the ETO include:
-Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and manage spares for various equipment including navigational systems, internal communication systems, external communication systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, and more.
-Utilize AMOS system for equipment maintenance (PMS) and spares ordering (procurement).
-Report all accidents, near misses, deviations from operational routines, and recommendations for improvement to superiors, particularly those impacting safety, security, and environmental protection.
-Ensure no modifications or projects are carried out without consent from the chief electrician and chief engineer.
-Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, manuals, and directives.
Position Requirements
ETO CoC required
High Voltage Training
Experience on board operating cruise vessels in equivalent rank. 12 months sea time as ETO
Good knowledge of maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC)
Good command in English
