The Electrical Engineer Officer is responsible for:

· Familiarizing with 1st Electrical Engineer`s duties and responsibilities
· Responsible for electrical maintenance, repair and spares of following equipment:
· Emergency generator and switchboards
· AC & Thruster motors
· AHU controls assistance
· Low voltage substations, transformers, switchboards (including Galley)
· Elevators and Escalators
· Electric driven deck machinery including winches, sliding doors, etc.
· Lighting and lantern system
· Hotel Dimming systems
· Assistance to L&S technicians
· Lifeboats, tender boats, rescue boats incl. launching winches and davits
· Laundry equipment
· Galley equipment
· Electrical support with all equipment in Engine Machinery Spaces
· Utilising the AMOS System for respective equipment maintenance (PMS) and ordering of spares (Procurement)
· Supervising and coordinate the repair and maintenance work of electricians.
· Planning and submitting Permit to Work/Risk Assessment/Toolbox meeting 
· Under no circumstances shall any modification or project be carried out without the consent of the Chief Electrical Engineer and Chief Engineer.  
· Adhering to all Company Policies and Procedures, Manuals and Directives always.
