Our Seamen

Nautical officers

We are looking for nautical officers with experience on multipurpose vessels including:
Safe care for the project cargo of our customers such as
Stowing, lashing & securing of project cargoes incl. efficient tweendeck operations
Lifting of cargoes with own ship cranes (incl. Lifts up to 2x400t on our Heavy Lifters)
Very special focus on fire prevention due to heavy welding operations by crew & shore workers
diligent maintenance of cargo holds and hatch-cover sealings
Administrative skills and knowledge to manage increasing regulatory requirements incl. SOLAS/ISM/ISPS/MARPOL
English language proficiency suitable for international trade
Technical engineers and mechanics

The majority of our ships are propelled by 4-stroke M/E from MAK, Germany. Ships bigger than 12.000 dwt usually run on MAN B&W 2-stroke engines. We focus on practical workshop skills of our engine crews and attach importance that our engineers constantly improve their English language abilities for good communication with our head office and the international crew onboard. Engineers with good electrical knowledge enjoy preference.
Deck Crews

Professional experience with crane driving incl. rigging, communication during lifting operations, securing of project cargoes especially needed for our heavy-lifters. Handling of tweendecks and gantry crane. Willingness to work hard to remove welded stoppers after discharge of cargoes. Ensuring a good maintenance standard of the cargo hold despite heavy cargo operations incl. care for hatch cover sealings. Teamplayer willing to work with multi-national crew (e.g. Filipino crew).
Cadets

We run constantly 60 deck and 60 engine cadet positions onboard our vessels. Due to the nature of small ships and intensive cargo operations, all cadets are fully integrated into the ship operations. After first contracts as OS/AB respectively Wiper/Motorman, we offer Junior Officer and Junior Engineer positions for the next career step.
