Position Requirements
An academically proven qualification as Diploma graduate in commercial HVAC-R ( Hotel Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) at College degree level as a minimum or equivalent (trade school).
F-Gas / EPA certificate.
Min. 12 months relevant sea going experience as a Jr. Reefer Engineer on cruise vessels or as Reefer Engineer on Cargo ships. Or working ashore for a large 5-star hotel.
OR Min. 5 years combined relevant sea going experience as a Air Conditioning Technician on cruise vessels.
Proven experience of working within the refrigeration industry.
In-depth knowledge of Halocarbon 'fluorinated' refrigeration system designed process principles, control system and instrumentation
Experience working with planned maintenance system AMOS.
