We are looking for an ELECTRONICs OFFICER to join our luxury cruise ship!

The Electronic Officer is responsible for maintenance and repairs onelectrical systems, equipment and installations on boardas called from the ship necessities. This covers but not limited to:

Fix wire Communication system, including Public Address System;
Fire Detection System;
Telephone and pager System;
Telecommunication Emergency Batteries;
Electronic Bridge Equipment and AGMDSS
Vessel’s Security Handling Hardware;
Accommodation\s TV systems;
The Careful handling of all equipment and machinery in his/her area of responsibility
Reporting to his Superior all accidents, near misses and recommendation for improvement.
Requirements:

Extensive successful experience in a similar position within the cruise industry;Holder of III/6 IMO Certification;
Fluent in English, oral and written;
Meets the requirements of STCW regarding certification for this position;
Mandatory previous sailing experience on cruise ship of these specification:

DWT: 13,000
Length: 323.6 m
Breath 37 m
PAX: arnd 5000
Crew: 1,400
Propulsion: Azipods
Engines: Diesel-electric 62,400 kW (83,700 hp)
Date of joining: 25 ' February 2025

Rotation: 3 months on - 3 months off
