Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Chief Electrician Engineer in managing the maintenance, repair, and operation of all electrical machinery and instrumentation on the vessel.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical issues involving switchboards, motor controllers, and other electrical equipment.
Ensure regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure electrical systems interface properly with mechanical systems.
Maintain logs and records of electrical operations and maintenance activities.
Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities as required.

Qualifications:
Holder of a valid Electro-Technical Officer Certificate or equivalent technical certification.
Proven experience as an electrician or electrical engineer on board ships.
