We are seeking a well-qualified and organized 2nd Engineer to join a 60m+ Amels yacht, working within a team of two engineers. This position offers a supportive and relaxed work environment, with an experienced Chief Engineer team that has been with the vessel for over three years.
Position Highlights
Atmosphere: Professional yet relaxed; the departing 2nd Engineer has been with the vessel for over two years.
Living Arrangements: Large shared cabin with the Chief Officer, one day off per week when off charter.
Qualifications
Licenses: Must hold a minimum of an EOOW (Engineering Officer of the Watch) 3rd Class Engineer or Second Engineer Unlimited License.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an engineering role onboard commercial vessels, with prior yacht experience required.
Technical Background: Open to candidates with a commercial shipping background who meet certification standards.
Nationality: Open to Ukrainian passport holders only.
