We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Freelance 3rd Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis, assisting in maintaining the high standards of operation and safety on board. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, preferably with experience on similar-sized yachts.Certification: STCW certification and maritime qualifications relevant to this role.
Experience: At least 2+ years as a 2nd Engineer on commercial vessels; yacht experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of marine engineering systems and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Documentation: Must hold a valid passport and be eligible to work in the U.S.
Age Requirement: 24-35 years old
Licenses: Second Engineer Unlimited License or EOOW (Engineering Officer of the Watch) 3rd Class Engineer.
Preferred Background
Candidates from commercial shipping backgrounds with the necessary certifications are welcome.
Nationality: This role is open to Ukrainian passport holders only.
