Duties and Responsibilities:
Offer all possible assistance to all guests.
Clean and supplies guest cabins according to procedure.
Keep trolley neat and adequately supplied.
Maintain all equipment in good working order.
Keep linens and cleaning lockers clean and orderly.
Report if any loss or damaged of linens, furniture’s, fixture or equipment to the Floor Supervisor / Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Report maintenance deficiencies to the Floor Supervisor/ Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Check status of assigned cabins and report discrepancies to the Floor Supervisor/ Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Turn in immediately to the Front Office all “Lost & Found” items, listing the cabin number or area where found.
Clean and maintain all cleaning equipment daily such as vacuum cleaner, blower and including trolleys.
Report immediately to the Floor Supervisor / Assistant Executive Housekeeper any unusual
happening on the floor.
Ensure that no occupied cabins is left open and unattended when being service to verify actual occupant.
Perform spot clean upholstery furniture whenever required.
Perform spot clean on stain carpet whenever required.
Clean the balcony chair and flooring.


Requirements:
Hospitality Experience: Demonstrated experience in cabin steward or related roles within the maritime or hospitality industry, showcasing proficiency in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest cabins.
Language Proficiency: Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous for effective communication with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Physical Fitness: Excellent physical health and stamina, capable of efficiently carrying out physically demanding tasks associated with cabin cleaning and maintenance.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards in guest cabins, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
Customer Service Skills: A customer-focused approach with the ability to provide exceptional service to guests, anticipating and fulfilling their needs for an enjoyable onboard experience.
Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic maritime environment, adapting to changing
circumstances, and addressing guest requests promptly and efficiently.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other cabin stewards, housekeeping staff, and various onboard departments to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to guest services.
