Requirements:

The AC Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing all Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment and related gear.

The AC Engineer will supervise the AC and Reefer Technicians and ensure that they in turn assist with routine maintenance and as required, in the day to day safe and efficient operation of the Hotel and MachinerySpaces Equipment.

The AC Engineer is expected to work closely with the Staff , Chief Electrician and the HSEO in order to ensure good communications and standard of service. When necessary, he will liaise with the HSEO for assistance.

Work planning is an important part of this task and so, Wet / Dry-dock specifications, modifications to improve design and spare parts stock control, requisitioning and follow-up are essential.

He will be up to date and familiar with the “Safety Management System” of CCS, Company Rules and Regulations, Chief Engineer’s Standing Orders,Manufacturers’and any Technical Circular letters and bulletins and the ship’s Planned Maintenance System ( AMOS).
